Fire season is rapidly approaching. If you live in a rural area, please remember to give firefighters a defensible space by clearing your property and keep brush 100 feet from all structures.

Gardening Dangers:

During your spring gardening, be aware of critters that like to live in your yard.
Stinging insects like bees and wasps can inflict a painful wallup.
Black widows and brown recluse spiders can put you out of commission for several days and can be fatal in extreme cases.
Wear gloves and watch where you put your hands and arms while working in the yard.
If you are bitten, stung or otherwise injured, always error on the side of caution and call 911. |
